Trump as Putin's puppet and what's the big deal about being an outsider?

So it turns out that Russia is behind the hack on Democratic National Convention computers. Think about this. Why did Russia, likely w/Vadimir Putin's tacit approval hack the DNC? Why not the RNC? That should raise some eyebrows. Now if you agree with how Putin is running his government with the breath of the Crimea issue, the Ukraine invasion, ordering the execution on British soil of a Putin dissenter, re-envisioning Russia's communist past to be one of nationalistic glory and pride then fine, vote for Donald Trump. But that's what Russia wants, to become the USSR again. And it doesn't need a Hillary Clinton who stands up to him getting in his way. Putin is a thug so it seems Putin and Trump would make for chummy buddies. But it won't make for advancement of US ideologies. Trump presents a catastrophic danger to the US and our relationships with allies. Adding Donald Trump to the mix will prove our undoing if ppl give in to this fearful propaganda he and his team have devised to condemn Hillary Clinton as weak or untrustworthy or ill or what ever. Russia needs to be quashed, not encouraged. In addition, trump touts his being an outsider as something to consider. Then consider this: would you want an outsider performing you're abdominal surgery, an outsider Nurse placing your IV access? Would you want an outsider fixing your leaking faucet or repairing your roof? Then why in all that is logical would you want an outsider running one of the worlds most progressive and advanced democracies?

Archuleta and pop culture exudates

A response to this article that appears on the nymag.com website:

So, the song, "Crush" hit to top of the pop charts. That tells me plenty even before listening to the song. But I did, in spite of my better instinct, youtube it and I was not disappointed. I knew it would be another churned out pablum sucking cheap hook in bedded, lack of originality POS and I was unfortunately correct. This comment has absolutely nothing to do with the high talents of D.A., whom I wanted to compete on Idol till the end. It speaks to the absolute lack of musical insight pop culture continues to reinforce in today's youth. Namely that crap sells musically just like sex and inane sitcoms. This is not art, it is sales. It is marketing and once again, American pop culture bought it hook line and sinker. David A. may be mature in how he handles success, but his success isn't strictly his, it is his handlers and if he ever gets over all the easy money and decides to actually work for a living writing and producing his own work, then I will change my tune and offer my props to him. Until that day, there is nothing here to listen to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmNFfbEsJLk&feature=rec-fresh

The tragedy is not only Britney's, it is our tragedy as well!

I was left feeling terribly bad for poor, screwed up Britany Spears after reading Vanessa Grigoriadis’ collage of previously covered material, including all the lewd photos-shame on you at RS. I considered all sides, from her fucked up family, little sister included, greedy self-serving “friends”, handlers and managers and I considered Britany herself and what role she takes in all this mess she finds herself subject to.

This country is a cesspool of wasted time and wasted lives over popular crap which has absolutely no redeeming value, not even from the simplistic entertainment value she has delivered at everyone else’s direction. I doubt this grown child has ever made a simple decision for herself prior to her pathetic demise. But I do not cast much of the blame on her. She is a churned out product of cheese whiz proportions who destructed under the pressure and evil manipulations of people who knew what was right for their pockets without ever giving a shit about what was right for her. Too young, too easily manipulated and surrounded by the piece of shit she called her mother and drunk bastard father, swamped with attention and glitter and lights and screaming fans, she burned in the very fire she set herself but relentlessly fanned by the gluttonous media who actually believe we have a right to witness this catastrophe of a human life.

I say fuck all of you, RS included. Let this child recover, let her get her bearings and find herself and escape from the myriad images we have of her so she can finally develop one of her own. You call this article “the tragedy of Britney Spears”, I say the tragedy is how the publics so called need to know amounts to the most asinine and whorish profession of Paparazzi descending on her and other victims like hyenas to the kill. This whole thing has been nothing more than a late teenaged rebellion against EVERYONE for telling her what to do, who to be and how to behave. She lost her mind because we took it from her, and she is finally, I pray (and I do not even believe in god,) about to discover the real Britney Spears. When she finally stands up, I will applaud her triumph back from hell, or back into it!

My views on abortion or Pro Choice as the women's groups euphemistically are inclined to call it.

The designer is an abortion-rights activist who once exercised her political activism on a Wisconsin college campus.
Jennifer Baumgardner, a 1992 graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, is now a New York author who writes frequently on women's issues and has co-authored a book called "Manifesta: Young Women, Feminism and the Future."

Not sure how I got on this e-mailing list, (NARAL) but already sent my opt out request.

I hope someone will hear me out on this:

When will women learn that for the greatest majority of women in this country, the USA, choice=abortion is a means of contraception, or should I say contra-delivery. Do not delude young, foolish teenagers or give added credence to the plethora of women who actually practice repetitive use of termination with talk of rights and choice. There was in the greatest numbers, choice-to abstain, use real contraception or put up for adoption. The entire process of ripping life from the womb, yes, life, no matter how pro-choice women's groups care to rationalize it (thus brain-washing yet to abort women) for their emotional expediencies, is a repulsive and entirely too human an act of barbarism and unconcern for the process of the formation of life. Define it how you like it but conception is the absolute beginning of life, for with out conception, there would be no life.

If one were to discuss willingness to bear children between partners, to them, the non-conceived notion of a baby is already alive. How then can you say the products of conception, as if people are products-such dehumanizing terminology works in your favor-which comes from the physical act of pro-creation as in creating life-hello? are no less life and worthy of respect? As it is I am pro-choice for now, to prevent the years of back alley procedures with injured and killed many a woman, but that is not to say I condone this practice. Such disrespect for our biology and disregard for our nature is tantamount to denying who we are, an evolving species who can send people into outer-space but can not see the horrible assault on our collective psyche via the continued encouragement of abortion as a means to relieve us of the burden of ushering forth life we did not want. Face it, we humans abort under the guise of choice through the ill-perceived belief that this is not life in order to stop a fetus from developing into a baby. That F-N makes no sense. It is an example of reverse sublimation where we take the natural inclination-give birth and subvert it into a gross distortion of logic.

Cloning aside, life begins at conception. Your pro choice advocacy should be directed primarily at teaching women to not consider abortion until every possible scenario has been discuses to death, if you will pardon the pun, and then only if there is inherent grave risk to the mother. A fetus should never pose a threat to the bearer. Abortion should be viewed as a proscription so its doing would be perceived as unacceptable, which for me it is. THere are better ways to handle this then giving rights to women to make up for the millennia in which rights were denied. Yea, its your body, great, but so has the right that grows within you. It did not ask to be here, you allowed it, most of the time. Do not deny it its final glory, birth.I would drink to that.
